Why did RB decide to pit Max again, he could have won or at least easy second place. Worst if they wanted to pit they should have put him on Mediums again.
Eish Ferrari.
The second half of the season Bearman has been the best rookie. And thats in a Haas. His shares must be high in the paddock. Ferrari must make a plan to get him next to Leclerc otherwise another big team will poach him.
By the time they got to the end of the race on his old mediums he would have been a sitting duck. They had nothing to lose with the gamble.

Well Lando put on 8 lap old mediums, so he would also just have been fast a few laps and then equalled out. So it was no guarantee that he would catch and pass Max.

Landos to lose now. One bad race though and it might go to the wire for 3 drivers to squabble over.
I want Lando to win it but I do think it will go down to the wire.
It would be a great season ending if any of 3 drivers could get it in the last race.

What a lekker race, Max was unbelievable. Pity they couldn't get that car setup right on Saturday, I think he would have taken everything based on his Sunday pace. Kimi did fantastic to hold him off.

Lando has been very solid and definitely in form. I do believe this weekend was the death blow to Max's chances with 50 points adrift, there needs to be some serious DNF's in the next few races.

As it stands, I think Lando is in a very comfortable spot, barring any bad luck going forward, he will be the champ.

Is it just me or has Max transitioned from being boo'd at most circuits to becoming super over at every race with the fans?

A lot of Max's pace was due to the new power unit that he took. If he had not had setup issues and been competitive, he wouldn't have been knocked out in Q1 and would therefore likely not have decided to take a new unit and start from the pit lane.

He would likely have been competitive, but I don't think he'd have been as fast as he was during the race and can't say that he'd have taken everything.

The championship is Lando's to lose. Piastri will never win a championship, this year was his best and only chance. He's been **** ever since Baku. It also doesn't help he is guided/managed by Mark Webber, and Piastri's career will end up as a Mark Webber type career only.

Well done to the rookies... and the midfield cars.

Eish... Ferrari can't catch a break. Le Clerc is such a talented fast driver... give that man a better car already ffs... he'll win some championships.

...and Verstappen just doing what the greats before him did on many occasions.

Good race yesterday. Nice win for Lando. I'm not a Max fan but that drive from pit to podium was class. Double DNF from Ferrari just compounds their terrible season.

Oscar is getting a bit of a reputation as a dive bomber. Agree that this was his chance. New regulations are gonna mix it up again

New power unit and another stab at fiddling with the setup which others didn't get to do. It's definitely a major advantage, still a good drive.

Ferrari are just looking at 2026 longingly. Hopefully they can fix stuff.
They had better or the Tifosi are going to storm Marinello the way the Villagers stormed Frankenstein's Castle.

I think the changed floor had a big impact too
