2 sitting ducks vs perhaps catch a podium. I’d gamble.
What made them think he had the slightest chance to be able to pull it off?

Earlier he had to let Le Clerc pass, and that guy was driving a car with a broken wing.

Was a lousy gamble in my opinion.

But in the end doesn't matter they cocked it up even in more spectacular fashion.

I think it might’ve also triggered a front runner pitting and then lec would’ve stayed out and perhaps taken advantage so hardly bad. I wouldn’t lose sleep over it compared to previous bad decisions.

Ferrari fast on Australian GP Friday practice
+ Ride height to save skid plank
= Ferrari slow

- Ride height for Chinese GP
= Ferrari faster but DSQ

Seems like this car is a proper ride height diva.

That Ferrari car is very sensitive it seems to setup changes… loved how Charles had pace without an end fence.

Well done to Williams for a double points score, Oli Berman had an awesome race

An earlier pitstop initially bought Hamilton some respite but Leclerc quickly caught him after his own stop, aided by traffic, which prompted Hamilton to radio: "I think I'm going to let Charles go, because I'm struggling."

But this radio message was not broadcast on the international feed.

The FiA/broadcasters manufacturing drama already.

Yuki should have been there in the first place, he did his time. Lawson needs more time in F1, that's the whole point of them having another team...

I agree, only reason seems to be that with the Honda partnership ending leaves RB with a worry that he might go to Aston or something to follow Honda.

Throwing Lawson into that absolute nightmare of a car as a rookie was a helluva mistake. I am sure he will do better as the year progresses but that means RB is going to leave so many points on the table. Meanwhile Merc, Ferrari and Mclaren will be raking up points with both drivers.

Yeah Ferrari definitely screwed up big time in that feature race, its so bad.... They've been in this sport since the beginning, you'd think they would be the team that nails the regulations every time.

Anyways, great drive from McLaren. Piastri kept a cool head as ever and Norris did well despite his brakes dying on him.
Charles did well despite his gimped front wing, that must have been a tough drive.
Bearman had a solid race, as did Ocon, Stroll as well.
Very happy for Albon to come away with even more points, its so great for him and Williams!
Racing Bulls did so well for the majority of the race and only really lost it at the end...
Another rough weekend for Alonso. I'll bet he's already counting down the days until 2026.
Lawson needs to figure out how his car works ASAP
At least the rookies all finished the race

Bit of a lacklustre affair this one, but at least it was interesting enough with various dramas.

I'll call it a 4/10 race. It had its dramas and overtakes, sure, but it was far inferior to Australia.

*Oh my goodness, my poor fantasy team! :X3: 😭

Olivier Beerman definitely was overlooked it seems.

Did more overtakes than anyone else from what I could see.

A very robotic race...

What the hell happened with Antonelli, he was miles away from the top 6 and Russell, and people giving him DOD not based on performance, go figure the type of viewers the FIA is recruiting, it's all about likes and views and followers and the 20 something crowd who don't have a clue.

Driver of the day and team of the day is Bearman (3rd with 12.9%) and Haas.

Racing bulls messed up with a 2 stop strategy.

Ferrari...
