There's a degree of marketing and fanfare that's required. F1 is a popularity contest after all. Just look at Danny Ric.

I doubt he's too bothered. I'm sure he's looking forward to working with Lewis, possibly learning some things from him and happy to teach him some things as well.
Yes and we have seen what happened to the marketing clowns race skills when they started concentrating more on the other stuff. Ricciardo. Bottas......and the one we may not mention.

Nothing to do with marketing, more with the heritage of Ferrari. You've been the main guy at the team and along comes this new guy with no connection to Ferrari, and he gets to nab Enzo's house. Only Schumi got that privilege, and only after he proved himself to the team...
Listen DTS fan stop believing your fake British news media. He will only get a tour of the house for an hour if he is lucky.

who wore it better...

Ferrari is an ode to dudes who love cars, from one of their own | Vox

Yea but it's a little different. It's the off season, there's no racing or even practice to be done. So marketing can be done more easily in the times. It's also the start of something new and quite important. We should be enjoying these things, not bemoaning them.

Will Buxton declares IndyCar has ‘greatest racing on earth’ after F1 switch

Well it is 'merican
The word greatest is like a wildcard. You can insert anything in it's place so it's impossible to argue the point.

Who is we? Hamilton fans? What is important? Maybe important to Hamilton fans?
The sheer joy from all over the world when Max won Abu Dhabi 2021 show that the overwhelming majority of F1 fans does not care for him.
I hope that according to you, when Max switch teams one day you will all embrace the importance of it.

"We" referred to fans of the sport. The sport is comprised of 10 teams with 20 active and 10 reserve drivers. Any or all of them could have something going on and so it's good to keep track of those things.

In this specific instance, the most successful driver in the history of the sport has moved to the most successful team in the history of the sport. If you do not see the importance of that then I think you are a little too heavy into your biases. You don't have to like Lewis or Ferrari (clearly you don't actually like either of them) but to downplay things like this is just petulant.

Salient points for those who understand the significance of this occasion.

Nope. the greatest drivers of all time was not interested in the fanfare, bringing politics and personal opinions into the sport, they were there to race.
The real F1 fans does the same, not interested in all the BS and fashion and DTS.

Thats the same why the Hamilton fans make up stories about him being sabotaged at Merc. Him moving into Enzo's house. All kinds of 2021 conspiracies.
Us real F1 fans does not care about that. We are not the same.
Julle is ganse van n ander dam.

I wanted to say that at least this is going to last just 6 months till everyone see the form of the last 2 years was not sabotage and all this fanfare will be over. But then I realized that we going to hear all the new conspiracy theories.
