guessing we can ignore the times from P2 because there were too many interruptions so the run plans people were on might not give a true reflection of car performance....
I struggle with paying attention to any practice times these days. I enjoy the sessions for the commentary and perhaps a driver shines for a bit or has a great sector or lap.

Going to be interesting if it does rain ( or it could be a no show, but don't think it will rain so hard )

Weather forecast is showing 90% chance up to 2pm local time (which I think is the race start time). So while it may start to dry, the race could start on a wet track. Might see some interesting strategies coming out.

Oliver Oakes (Alpine TP) confirming that Doohan's crash does seem to have been down to user error, in that he did indeed close the DRS a fraction late.

I remember in 2011 when some of the cars went flat out through 130R with DRS open.
Still a YT short of Vettel doing it in the RB7 at 305kmh, those lightweight cars had crazy downforce.

These new cars are not that much faster but they're so heavy and easy to lose the rear.

Yuki again right behind Max in the times. Next session, Quali, will really show us where he stands in the pecking order, but it's looking good so far.

I'll be happy to see him prove me wrong when I supported Lawson getting the seat late last year.

These streams keep cutting off at the last couple of laps any alternatives?

Edit free my peeps forgot to add that

Imagine this happened at the SA F1, people would lose their minds. ANC caused the fire. Idiots have to douse the grass with buckets of water!

Oh, the humanity!

Urgh, F1 TV stream not working ...

Error code BM2001.

Anyone else getting this? First time it's not working in over 2 years
