If Oscar wants to win the title, this year is his chance. He has got the car. I like him and he is OK, but have not shown any brilliance yet like we have seen from other multiple champions.
Next year we have no idea what Mclaren or any other car's pace will be. Verstappen will be there for a few more years, Leclerc may come to his senses and move to a faster/more predictable team, Antonelli might proof to be a candidate.
So for Oscar the time is now or maybe never.
