Yes, and everyone also said that the precedent has now been set regarding being ahead at the apex. So when others start doing it against Max, he mustn't whine about it. You are welcome to dig up last year's thread...

I am just educating and correcting the uneducated on this thread.
You see last year Mike and his buddies was all on the Norris train. I told them that Norris is weak and not Mclaren's answer, but rather Piastri. First they laughed, now they agree with me.
I also told them Hamilton is old and would not come close to Leclerc. They laughed, now it seems I was right again.
I was also the first to tell them its not Perez but the car and Max is just so good to still win with the car. Now they realize it.

I sometimes feel my vast knowledge of F1 and high IQ does not get appreciated on this thread. Even DTS fans like Urban and Quovadis constantly try stupid arguments with me, knowing they have 0.02% chance of winning. It get annoying.

Weird flex. You might fair better without the superiority complex and constant need for validation.
 
I wish people would stop whining about drivers "whining". It's like F1 fans have a limited vocabulary and don't know how to express themselves.

There is clearly a bit more going on behind the scenes between Max and the powers that be., He is not angry at Piastri and that first corner move is racing. Is the penalty fair? Sure, maybe. Piastri does what Max has done numerous times, he is becoming a WC, yes he should have turned earlier and Max perhaps should have ceded. Both are gunning for the 1st corner win.

But, clearly the stewards said something different in pre race meeting with drivers and officiated in a different manner and this is pissing Max off. Combined with the schoolboy treatment of language and what can and cannot be said in interviews.

Go on Fia, push one of the all time greats out the sport.. idiots.

Oscar drove very well, he is all inside ol Lando's head.
Leclerc also very good drive.
Max did very good to keep the 2nd spot and the car looked very good on race day and just phenomenal work on quali again.

And the Williams, get in there boys. Looking good for next year.
 
I think Max is more pissed off about whatever MBS said to him after the race. He spoke to him twice after, so I'm guessing there was some BS about not saying anything.

Yeah, clearly something going on there. My take on it is that it is the inconsistency of the stewards and how they handle certain things. One race you get away with something, the next you get a 10 sec penalty. Not just Max, across the grid.

What they brief in drivers meeting and what they dish out during the race does not seem to correlate.

Throw in the stupid penalties etc for saying your peace or dropping a swear word.... So stupid.
 
It's such a detraction from the sport as a whole. Not just Max, goes for all the drivers. I mean we'll never get another "suck my balls mate" moment.
