And the luckiest driver out there today if you discount the FSC at the end. Dunno why the FIA needed a full SC.

I dunno, teams often wait for possible safety cars. Definitely went in his favour but then look at both starts - he just killed them. And he finished 6+ seconds ahead of P2 in 9 laps.

Max = incredible first corner, then see ya later pooftas!

Oscar = yeah I'll accept 2nd place

Lando = I'm sulking give me toys

McLaren = we want Lando to win because he's sulking these last few weeks, lets pit Oscar again and then we can leave Lando on hard tyres till the end for a 1 stopper, Oscar will be 15 seconds behind him so he won't catch him

Race director = ****it put a safety car out I want Lando to win

Humans = wtf is the race director putting a safety car out when a few laps before the exact same thing happened and it was a virtual safety car

Leclerc = #@%#@% @#$%@# @#@#!!!fgds#!@#$ **** box!#@!!!!!!

That is why I decided not to subscribe to F1Tv and stick to Sky Coverage ..........

This weekend's strategy was to use Sky for pre and post session banter, F1TV for the session commentary.

Don't like the Crofty stand in and I cannot handle the Italian on ecstasy....

Outside the top 4, Williams is currently best of the rest. Unbelievable turnaround from them...

What makes this turnaround more impressive is they haven’t really added / changed much on the current car AND they have already stopped new dev on it!

Shoutout to Hadjar as well for consistency

I'm not often speechless during a race, but when Max sent it into turn 1 (turn 2 actually) I was like HTF did he just do that? David Coulthard was just as shocked. Mega move.

Looks like the Red Bull severe degradation issues are getting sorted. We have a 3 way championship again!

What race by Max, DOTD and nobody close to his skill currently in F1
Another great drive for Hadjar.

Lot of HooHaa around Hamilton. Lets not forget that Ferrari put Leclerc on the wrong strategy. And even with that Leclerc was about to overtake Hamilton having done a pitstop already, just before the VSC. If not for the 2 safety cars Leclerc would have still beaten Hamilton by 20s, even on the worst strategy. So relax with the Hype, there was no sudden gain in form, just the cards fell right.

Oh and some help for a few that does not seem to know F1.

Piastri called in too early?
Ferrari was on the backfoot at home after poor qualifying. So they had to take a chance and different strategy. So they pitted Leclerc early to see what happens. At that stage the mediums was going through a graining faze and not performing. Leclerc was much faster and as could be seen even came out ahead of Russell.
So the teams got scared and Mclaren pitted Piastri to cover Leclerc.

As for gaps between drivers under VSC.
The cars are driving at much slower speeds. So when you drive through a timing point the car behind you drive much slower and therefor takes much longer before it reach the same timing point, than under normal racing.
Thus, say the gap under normal racing between two drivers are 10s. Under the VSC that same gap will go to +- 20s. When the accelerate again when racing resumes the gap will go back to 10s.
The 10s is not an exact number. it can vary from tracks and where you are on the track, fast or slow section.
