Former IndyCar driver Danica Patrick has taken a new route onto the political stage. Known for her achievements on the racetrack, Patrick has turned her focus to the political arena in her recent backing of Donald Trump.
This explains a lot.

During a Trump Rally speech, the former driver made a dig at the allegations against Sean 'P Diddy' Combs, commenting:

"I never went to a Diddy party.

"I'm doing this because I love this country and there's nobody that's been tested more than Donald Trump on showing his love for this country — through indictments, house raids, mugshots, and getting literally shot.

look she has hot legs... she can stay
Villeneuve doesn't... he can go

I have lined up some replacement interviews :

That's just to bring it up to F1 standards, they still need to win the right to host a race...

Yip.

Next step is for Kyalami to win the SA bid.
Step two is for track+government to sign a deal with F1.
Step three is to perform these costly improvements, the timeline is within 3 years of now.
Step four is to find an empty spot on the calendar, with the most likely candidates being 2027 or 2028 (Barcelona + Baku have their slots open on 2027 calendar and Zandvoort + Spa have their spots open in 2028) but Thailand and South Korea are also aiming for spots (Madrid is also taking Imola's spot next year and Qiddiya is replacing Jeddah in 2028).

I cant see Spa losing its spot, but Zandvoort's spot could easily become a rotating one

Zandvoort's future could depend on Max honestly. If he decides he's had enough of F1 (and sometimes he tends to give off that vibe) and packs it in, Zandvoort could well follow suit.

True. Zandvoort only has a spot until next year. Strong opinion that it may not be extended.

Well 2026 is the final year for Zandvoort, they wont be extending. I think this will pave the way for Kyalami
