Completely ignoring the fact that they are both proven race winners with the cumulative experience of 527 Grands Prix under their belts. They are bringing a treasure trove of technical input to a team that will be starting from 0. They have also both driven for championship-winning teams, so they will likely influence team culture as well. They are going to set a respectable technical baseline for Cadillac from where they can grow.

And you cannot even begin to compare Haas to Cadillac. Haas are a pure customer team, they don't even design their own chassis. Cadillac is investing heavily in facilities and will ultimately be a full factory team, producing their own PU.
Arguing with a 12-year-old is a waste, dude.

....give a dog a bone?

They just need to hire Alonso and we can finish the rhyme
....This old man came rolling home.
I beat you to it by 2 days ;)

What is new kak that Kym is doing with his vids

I really hope Cadillac have some clause in their contract to bring back the good old Bottas, not this 1980's clutchplate dyed hair, mullet, and pedo stache! He's done with his midlife crisis, he's got a job so time to be normal again and focus 100% on building the new team.

George Russell smashes EV records in Mercedes concept car:

— Mercedes-AMG, with the help of Formula 1 driver George Russell, has broken several electric vehicle world records with the Concept AMG GT XX at Italy's Nardo test track. The car covered 5479 kilometers (3404 miles) in 24 hours, surpassing the previous record of 3961 kilometers. Speaking to media, Russell expressed his admiration for the technology:
“As an F1 driver, I'm used to pushing technology to its absolute limits – the Concept AMG GT XX really impressed me.”
— The Concept AMG GT XX features three axial flux motors, generating over 1000kW (1360 horsepower) of peak power. Russell highlighted the motors' performance:
“The axial flux motors respond as immediately and precisely as a Formula 1 drivetrain, but with an endurance that I have only ever experienced with combustion engines.”
— Mercedes’ chief technology officer, Markus Schäfer, reflected on the brand's history at Nardo and the significance of the new records:

“In the 1970s and 1980s, Mercedes‑Benz was a regular guest here at Nardò, setting numerous international speed and track records – most notably with the C111 as a visionary technology programme.”

“Now, with the CONCEPT AMG GT XX technology programme, we are entering a new dimension of performance – this time with fully electric drive. The goal is to redefine the limits of what is technically possible in the age of electric drives.”

— The Concept AMG GT XX maintained a speed of 300km/h (186mph) during the record attempt, stopping 40 times for ultra-fast charging. Two identical models traveled a total of 40,075 kilometers (24,901 miles) in seven days, 13 hours, 24 minutes, and seven seconds, showcasing the potential of Mercedes' technology.
