I’m a huge McLaren fan, but I honestly think Max has a chance to still take it this year.

The gloves are off between Norris and Piastri and I can see them taking each other out at least in one race still this year.

It’s going to be entertaining to see who comes out on top.

I dunno. Lando still as limp as ever, with Piastri no longer interested in listening to team instruction, what exactly is baby Lando gonna do about it?

Without Mclaren reeling in Piastri on behalf of Lando, reckon Piastri just going to be able to take it with ease from Lando now. It's been Piastri vs team instruction until now, not Piastri vs Lando.

Well that’s kind of my point.

If Piastri gets the red mist for whatever reason, they might take each other out and give Max easy points

That's fine, it just needs to happen once and they'll be wiser for it the next time. Lando will eventually assume his role of the beta. If he had what it takes then he would have taken the championship from Max last year already, let alone his own teammate...

Thats not my point.

Lando a limp squib, to take eachother out he'd need balls, he doesnt have any. Piastri ignoring Papaya rules, Lando just gonna cry to Brown, thats it, thats all his meager character brings to the track.

I dont see Piastri crashing anything, he just not gonna give a damn about listening to oneside papaya rules nonsense anymore.

I just want to see good racing, not prime fighting, may the best man win even if it is max profiting from their mistakes.
That is the only way the youngsters at McLaren will learn how to be champions.

I'd argue that issue of good racing lies with Mclaren team management, their papaya rules crap has been the issue ruining alot of the racing experience this season.

As for Lando, Im not sure can learn. What he lacks is a character trait, either have it or dont, you dont 'learn it'.

Piastri has to learn when to tell a team to feck off. Think he doing that now and we gonna see a whole new Piastri approach with constructors won.

Papaya Rules are a thing of the past now, they were to ensure that the team won the Contractor's title, I seriously don't think they will use it to favor one driver for the title now, it will be gloves off for the last few races. Maybe they could reimpose it to stop them taking each other out, if they risk loosing the championship to Max, but that is why it will be an exiting season finally.

The only two races where RB could be on the back foot is Mexico and Abu Dhabi. I think Max will be strong in Cota, Brazil, Las Vegas and Qatar.
Max will win in Mexico. The Mercedes engine is bad in high altitude.

The papaya rules have already been used to benefit a driver.
Many of the calls did nothing to help constructors but rather a driver where results of call made zero difference to constructors.

Beta, sounds like Lando. I hope Oscar wipes the floor with him.

Then lets rather say any presence of helping the constructors. And I wasn't referring to the past anyway, I was referring to the future. Not sure if you were watching last week when McLaren stated that the drivers are now free to compete.

I heard they still bringing lots of upgrades

They are throwing everything including the kitchen sink in to try and get Max the Championship. Does not bode well for next year's car if they still actively developing the 2025 car.

wherever Max lands he's going to do well
