If FOM or DTS have a say then definitely, but the bookies will be on the phone too this time and will want their say depending on the current book... But someone in the FIA could be in for another payday. ;)

I was going to watch the next F1 race, but then at the end of the race the F1tv commentator shouted, "Change your plans.".
Now I don't know what to do.

;)

Yeah pitting during a SC like the other 17 cars who also did was strategic brilliance.
I saw yesterday as a mini Abu Dhabi 2021 re pit stops. Mclaren were worried about pitting and others overtaking them by not pitting. Red Bull always races with risk to get the reward and pitted.

AD 21 - same thing - Merc didn't bring Lewis in, but Red Bull did.

(Please leave the Masi influence out of this as it is not relevant)

Nah, imho Mclaren didn't wanna advantage a driver by pitting both or splitting strategy to the detriment of Piastri. AD 21 was a decision made based on how the rules were written and had always been implemented.

What if they tell Yuki he can keep his seat if he can get 2nd in the last race helping Max to win championship.

its weird to say this.
of all the rookies, Hadjar deserves a seat in a top 4 team more than anyone. he has impressed me the most by far.
ownes his mistakes, learns from his mistakes, shows a lot of pace.
but his career has effectively ended by moving to red bull. because red bull second seat is cursed.
if anyone can pull off the second seat and show promise and growth its Hadjar.

I feel very conflicted because I honestly believe both my last sentences are true.

the real question is, are the engine manufacturers close to each other in terms of performance and reliability for next year.
if one engine has say 20HP more than the rests then it will be a 2014 Merc situation again.
Merc, Ford, Ferrari, Audi and Honda.
2 new. 3 existing.
4 of the 5 have historic wins as an engine manufacturer in F1. only Audi does not.

no DRS.
man next year is going to be something. dont think it will be as exciting as this year was though.

I am keen to see what Fornaroli can do in an F1 seat.

Having watched him all the way through F3 and F2 wining both championships back to back in only two years, he is impressive.
I suppose only the Racing Bulls seat was available but, he may have also dodged a bullet, based on the result of previous careers that have ended prematurely by a stint in the 2nd RB car.....
