So Max needs to score 12 points more than Norris in Abu Dhabi, that means if Max wins than Norris can not be higher than 4th.

If we have a repeat of Qatar where Norris is in 4th and Oscar 2nd I wonder if McLaren will ask Oscar to drop out?

They f-uped Oscar chances in Qatar because they did not wanted to double stack and give Norris a disadvantage.

Max being 2 tiers above any other driver and 3 tiers above the average drivers is now the cursed Red Bull second seat.
Simply lovely

honestly if Mclaren get themselves into a position where Max is first, Oscar second and Lando 4th, they will likely do something like ask Oscar to pit or give up position, and then Lando's car will give out on the last lap. that is just the way this season is going.

its like the universe is working with Max to give him number 5.

I am keen to see what Lindblad can do in an F1 seat.

Having watched him all the way through F3 and F2 wining both championships back to back in only two years, he is impressive.
I suppose only the Racing Bulls seat was available but, he may have also dodged a bullet, based on the result of previous careers that have ended prematurely by a stint in the 2nd RB car.....

What are you talking about? Lindblad hasn't won FIA F3 for F2.

Fornaroli won F3 in 2024 and F2 in 2025.

If that order plays out (Max 1st, Piastri 2nd and Norris 4th), you give Piastri enough of a chance to try and beat Max (he still won't win the championship with Norris in 4th but he'll stop Max from winning it), but if he can't, you pit him on the fastest available set of tyres, make sure he drops behind Lando and then tell him to get the fastest lap, securing the title for Norris.

Piastri f'd up his own chances with the crash in Baku. His whole weekend was a sh*tshow.

A tiny handful of points that weekend and he'd be able to run his own race for the championship in Abu Dhabi.

There is no point for fastest lap this year.

Ag please,
Death threats by crazy fans happen in all sports. We have seen in before in F1, even this year from Colapinto fans. We have seen in many times in soccer. We have seen in at rugby world cup against SA players.
Secondly in the heat of the moment, drivers often make accusations against other drivers, teams and even race stewards, until they cooled down and seen the real facts. So why are team members doing it now so bad? Other team principals and staff have done the same in the past.
Lets not forget Red Bull often gets accused of colluding with Racing Bulls.

So threatening to kill someone is ok. Got it...
