"It's the fairest way": papaya rules expert

It would be even better to see Lando give the lead to Oscar in the final lap to let Oscar take second in the WC.
Double points at Abu Dhabi would've changed a lot. Whatever happens it'll be great to watch - hopefully the FIA don't screw it up.

I drank a litre of Haterade this morning. If Oscar doesn't take it, then Max will. In fact, Max should just take it outright, McLaren is too busy sabotaging its own drivers to have WDC as well as Constructors.

If we have a repeat of Qatar where Norris is in 4th and Oscar 2nd I wonder if McLaren will ask Oscar to drop out?
There is a more than realistic chance of this scenario emerging and it will be fascinating to see how it is handled.

[motorsport1924] Every time Carlos Sainz has joined a new F1 team, it has done better in his first full year than the previous season. The Spanish driver has taken two grand prix podiums and a sprint top three finish in his inaugural year at Williams - helping the team to 5th in WCC

First Williams driver to score multiple podiums in a season in 10 years (Bottas and Massa were the last in 2015).

He's had a strong end to the season. Just unfortunate that Albon seems to have lost his away a little.

Claire really pulled a number on that team, sad to say.

Heard a stat that said that since Monza, Carlos has outscored Alex by 48 - 3.

To be fair, they had been in terminal decline before she took the helm, and the early seasons under here were some of their best since the early 00s.

They made poor technical decisions, but Williams also found itself out of place as F1 evolved around the A and B team model. After BMW exited, their spiral began as a customer team. Then when the concept of A and B teams came along (Force India, Haas and Toro Rosso were built around this), they continued to go it alone.

Even though now owned by an investment group, they are as close as you can get to a true privateer team in F1.

Oh, and Max doesn't actually care about the 2025 title.
I'd say he's got nothing to lose, so why not go for it. He even said once that Red Bull is capitalising on other people's (McLaren) mistakes.

McLaren again tried to favour Norris, that why they did not stop with the others, they did not want to double stack Norris and let him get out in traffic. Also did not want Piastri to get advantage over Norris by pitting alone with the others.
I see no way Piastri will help Norris, unless he has some beef with Max that we don't know off.
I believe Piastri will grab the first chance he get into another competitive team.

I see a big controversy looming on Sunday, again involving Max. Somehow I see him and Lando coming together. Norris panics under pressure and will probably do something stupid. Piastri for the win.
