Do you think Max just messed around with factory settings and changing of the car this year like I do ? He didn’t really look like he gave two ****s who won the title.

Maybe he is was like “ ok let someone else win “ it’s lonely in front all the time.

A great race at the end of a great season. I'm really glad that Lando got the job done today. I have had my concerns about his mentality and was worried that he wouldn't be able to mount a challenge again next year if he was beaten this year.
 
How's everyone feeling about next season?
New team owners, new rules, new cars, plenty of great drivers. It feels like it could be a good shake-up with some surprises.
Looking forward to it.

Congrats to Lando and thanks Max for keeping our dream and the 2025 championship alive.

Can't wait for 2026 with new cars and old champions making come backs.

I feel that Lando should've received a 10s penalty for that off track pass on Tsunoda. BUT, if a Lando penalty had resulted in Max winning the championship, it would have gone down as another gifted championship by many haters and absolutely nobody wants to see that happen again.

As a result, even though my guy finished 2 points behind, I'm glad the stewards played no part in the final outcome.

Tsunoda clearly DID need coaching by his engineer because everybody who watched 2021 knows exactly where on the Abu Dhabi track you back a car up yet Yuki completely bottled it and then had to drive dirty on the high speed straight; idiot!


Well done to Lando. I'm not a fan of him or his very different family (wacky mom specifically), but a champion is a champion so well done is deserved.

They fired Yuki last week and then this week they want him to play the team game?
I am surprised he didn't take out max rather than block the McLaren for him.

You are the only one thinking that was a 10s penalty against lando

If Lambiase leaves red bull he would make a great engineer for Hamilton. Being Italian he would fit into the Ferrari culture and being the engineer for a multiple world champion he would better understand Hamilton and his needs. Far more so than Hamilton's current race engineer does. But the current engineer is probably the son of a family member or of Enzo Ferrari's 2nd lover twice removed. ;) :rolleyes: Ferrari should make him an offer he can't refuse.

In fairness there is precedent - it should’ve been a 10s penalty reduced to 5s due to Yukis behavior. Luckily though it doesn’t change anything so it’s not worth much discussion other than the FIA being less than consistent as always.
