Yeah congrats to Lando. I personally don't believe he deserves it, I think Max was the better driver this year, again. Winning more races than the rest but not coming away with title must sting but that is F1 for you.

Mclaren as a team has done super well this year and that was very impressive to watch. The right combination of 2 great drivers and a very good car and team around it apart from a few blunders here and there on strategies etc.

Max is another level but it is painfully obvious without a good team mate it will be difficult to win more titles. This is a team game and RB is not where they need to be.

I am super exited for next year. Early predictions, I think Russel will be champ next. Dark horses Mclaren boys and Alonso.

Nah, he deserves it, he got the job done when it mattered. Max and Oscar were both worthy though too.

Hamilton and Alonso are too old.
The rest are meh. Young drivers like Piastri etc came in with a lot of hype, but they not going to do it. Great drivers still show moments of brilliance when they young and inexperienced, between all their mistakes. The young ones unfortunately haven't show any moments of brilliance.

Anyway great times, page 1 of this thread in Dec last year. Great to read the first few pages again with all the clowns thinking Hamilton is going to win. Seems I was/is the only one that knew what's coming.
 
A manipulated championship.
Since the news broke of the cheating expanding Titanium blocks, Max suddenly made a charge in the championship and his slow(legal) car seemed fast again.

That win was the best media play in the history books. Like Kim's sex tape... boom you're famous . The FIA and the F1 Brand captured the US. They needed that and Netflix to achieve that.

Technically he has 3 team mates. An very unique advantage
 
Tense race but ended up a bit boring in the end!
Epic season and the excitement was high yesterday and the beers were flowing.
Congrats to Lando - It wasn't the most commanding season but the points show he got there in the end even with 1 or 2 DNF?
Oscar as well, great season but something must have happened towards the end there. Still a great season and he looks to be a future great.
Max is clearly the current great though. Best driver on the grid without a doubt.

Edit: F1 fans on social media are more toxic than gaming chat. I always thought Max just got it from the Lewis fans but I see Lando is also taking serious abuse.

To his credit he is still pretty much a rookie only being in his third year.

Lando has more than double the years of experience.
