To his credit he is still pretty much a rookie only being in his third year.

Lando has more than double the years of experience.
Don't think you can still count yourself as a rookie in your 3rd year. Villeneuve won it in his 2nd year.

As much as we can blame McLaren for being retarded and taking the equality thing too far to the point of screwing both drivers, Piastri will also be annoyed with himself. He had a DNF and some poor results in the second half...

Stupid? How about maths.
9 points lost in Spain. Didn't think they'd count.
2 points short of DWC.
Best driver? I think not.

No wonder he flipped out at a reporter when asked about this. He would not even be in the position of fighting for a title if not for a multitude of lucky moments. Double DQ, DNF's, bad strat calls etc.

You are no different, look at that one moment and fixate on that because it supports your narrative of the reason why he lost it.

Your argument that the best driver does not deliberately drive into another driver. Have you even been watching F1 over the years? Senna, Hamilton, Schumi.. they have all done that. Heat of the moment type thing.

Tsek man.

It started falling apart right about the time Mark Webber suggested the team was favouring Lando. Strange coincidence. That was right before Baku and he binned it in Baku followed by some lackluster performances until the last few races.

So, Mark got inside his own driver's head by chatting shite?

But not accurate. He should be kissing MBS in the second pic..
Reminds me. In the cooldown room, why was dirty Uncle Ben running his fingers through Lando's hair like it was a teenager's pubes? Thay was not lekker.....

Good riddance...

Super sad. Not many more deserving of a championship winning car for a full season. Poor guy has lived through engine gate and now ride height gate. Hopefully the next generation is more fair on him.
Ironically Binotto at least had some momentum - pity they fired him. If Ferrari don't deliver a competitive car next year Charles will have to make some very difficult decisions.

Well Leclerc made a multiple WC look like an amateur, so we all know how good he is.
Yeah, champions half is age older. When he's a champion you'll know how good he is. For now, he's a top 10 driver.
Norris got his manipulated Championship, just like many Brits before him. Nobody cares. He will fade away in mediocracy just like Button and Hill, nobody care except a few brits
Nothing manipulated about it. And Champions are never forgotten nor fade away.

Care to elaborate?

Are they suggesting Max has enemies in Red Bull?

Well he does have a massive price tag and now no longer champion plus the power struggle the last few years between the Austrian(Verstappens, Helmut) and Thai(Horner, Yoovidyha) shareholders is well known.

I don't think they necessarily want to get rid of him, but I do think if Helmut leaves, Max might lose some of his freedom in the team because it sounds like they are changing quite a lot ito people in charge, structures etc.

RB is most likely going into a rebuilding phase for the next few years as a manufacturer now anyway.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out next year, but I still think Max will leave RB at the end of 2026 if the car is not good enough. I am sure after the weekend he will have a renewed hunger to win his 5th and is not going to sit around for 3-4 years to wait for RB.
