F1 2026

But is that not the reason they declared investigation *After* the race?
They still only gave him 5 sec, retrospectively, for crossing the pitlane exit line.
But they hit other drivers far harder for lesser offences.
They didn't even investigate, or rule on, the incident shown in the video.
Did max clip him from behind?
2002 French GP Schumi was handed a drive through penalty for crossing the white pit lane exit line. Here Max gets 5s... did the penalty change since then, or is it just made up as the mood strike and the driver involved? I guess they didn't want to spoil his DotR award.
Just shows you how pathetic penalties have become and less about consistency.

Hermano da Silva Ramos, who was the oldest living F1 driver and Brazil's third ever participant, has passed away at the age of 100.

Seems most real F1 fans and drivers hate the new regulations. Only DTS fans like it as we can see on MBB too

"Significant changes in downward adjustment percentages and ADUO bands have been expanded to 10% and above in cases of severe delay."

A little late on this discussion, having watched this, he was full lock and had to make a correction. As Ayrton Senna used to say

"If you no longer go for a gap which exists you are no longer a racing driver"

,
"which exists" is the key part many 'fans' seem to not care for.

Also, Senna later ackowledged the incident which this quote of his was directly defending, was infact intentional, and not about a gap that existed

People just love to ignore the context and facts.

Look, I'm not supporting him, he's not my driver for the year (or last 3)... But the stewards have every possible bit of info to make a correct call... way more than us viewers... so leave it up to them, opinion does not matter. Watch and move on

Leave it up to the stewards? Seriously? Like, since when are they remotely consistent or reliable? I thought you were a long time F1 fan?

And no, nothing about any preference of driver for me. I simply find the ineptitude of those running the sh1tshow appalling, regardless of the driver involved.

I'm currently busy with an internal monologue debate as to who's worse, FIA or World Rugby... or if maybe neither... and there is a sport that is even worse?
