I exist only in my own mind ...
Let's see who guesses Michael Schumacher's decision.

My guess is that he will retire as a driver and take over Jean Todt's position, probably as team manager. Probably as a co-manager initially.

This is a difficult one to call. I believe that they will have two announcements prepared for after the race each dependent on the outcome of this specific race meeting.

Should MS cut dramatically into Alonso's points lead enough to extend the possibility of his actually taking the title at the end of the season, I believe he will announce his retirement and Kimi will be named as his replacement.

However, should he not make up any points or actually lose more to FA, the possibility that they will announce a 1 year extension to his contract is good. Where this leaves Kimi and Massa will be interesting as it seems that Kimi has already signed a pre-contract with Ferrari and with Massa currently performing extremely well I reckon that it woould be a shame to bump him for Kimi/MS.

All in all will be an interesting event.

Are you serious?!

What would a guy who made money like he does want to work for a boss for?
Methinks he will be a team owner next.

either way, Schumacher won the race and announced his retirement at the endo of the season from the sport.

As a longtime non-Schumacher fan I just want to say: Good fscking riddence :D

A true champion. His accomplishements will not easily be matched, not for some time.
To still be able to perform the way he is against young blood, in itself is amazing and show what kind of man, driver and champion he is.

That's why I like you so much, because of comments like that, if I was a girrrl I would've had your child ;), kidding!! :p , Michael rocks!

Not a Schumie fan but seeing as this will be his last season I really hope he manages to take the championship.

"Zidane retired with more glory than Schumacher" - direct quote from Alonso!!

Schumi's manager wants Alonso to apologise!!

Lol, not going to happen mate.

Sounds to me like a spoilt brat who had his toy break due to his abusing it. Everyone's fault but his. This is why MS will always be a better person than most of his detractors. He never stooped to making such stupid and inane comments about his opponents.

If FA wants to be known as one of the best, best he grows up a bit and rolls with the punches instead of trying to detract from one of F1's great drivers.

More conspiracies

ROTFLMFAO!!!!

It has just become ridiculous. They are looking for every excuse under the sun to try and explain why Ferrari are whipping them.

Indeed. Ferrari have the FIA wrapped around their finger and as Alonso and his Dad have said, the championship was decided around a boardroom table.

This is why Alonso has been the sole target of the FIA's censures the whole season is it not.

They were the only team to be affected by the loss of the MDS - oh, hold on! So were Ferrari, Mclaren, Honda....

Ah, but FA was the only person penalised for unsportmanslike behavior - oops, my bad so was MS.

Let us not forget that the rules have always been bent in Ferrari's favour - wait, there is a glimmer of a memory that serves to point to the fact that rules were changed at the end of 2004 to PREVENT Ferrari's domination of the sport at that time - which worked for one season as ALONSO won the championship.

Hmmm, definitely a conspiracy in favour of MS and Ferrari.

Lol... seems you had nothing to say about this. Anything you aren't telliing us lilDeath? :D

Renault also encountered problems with Giancarlo Fisichella’s car. The D-spec engine of the R26 broke down twice, which is not too positive.

Above from testing yesterday at Jerez and the D-spec is the same spec motor as what FA was using on Sunday. Seems Alonso was pushing really hard to catch-up due to his being penalised 5 grid slots.

I would venture to say that they have a slight reliability problem creeping in and this is the same motor they are hoping homologate for the upcoming engine freeze.

Ferrari must have infiltrated their camp;) ;)

As far as I can tell no question was asked by the poster or further required a comment from the statement made by the poster.
