Anyone else struggling with F1TV? I have been trying to signup since friday and am greeted with a spinning wheel.

Anyone actually using it to watch F1?

I think most people have somebody with a DStv premium subscription (read 'old people who don't Netflix') who lets them use their details for DStv Online ;)

Using it this side... Had a few technical issues to start with but now it's all good..

I watched part of the race on the Pit Lane channel, which also has different commentators. This past Sunday, Matt Gallagher was a guest presenter. It was pretty cool to see three different camera views, and more data. It wasn't available for the first race due do technical issues. I'll probably default to this way of watching the race instead of having the normal TV broadcast view and the Sky commentary team.

I like the pit lane view but hate the commentary - I prefer Sky. So I run two feeds on two windows - one for sound and one for the picture.

I tried the Pit Lane channel on my phone as a second-screen experience (muted, of course), but it's a bit small. The ideal would be to have two bigger screens side by side. But I'll try your way this weekend. My poor 24" monitor will be very cramped with info, though.

Thanks for the info, think best I buy a Pro package for August and see what its like.

I ended up watching most of qualifying and the race on the pitlane channel. It felt like I was missing half of what's going on when I watched the normal broadcast feed. On the pitlane channel they showed most of the battles and overtakes.
