FA Cup - 3rd Round fixtures this weekend

wow united was seriously poor in the finishing department

@fishfly: they had no true natural finishers on the pitch. One could argue Rooney is a machine infront of goal but he struggled to find the net yesterday (he is also generally more comfortable as a playmaker). SAF is going to have to splash on a striker, he is linked with a Carlton Cole (WHU), as a hammers supporter it would make me sad to see him go.

Villa and Silva will cost a fortune and I'm not sure Valencia would want to give up their two star players especially since they need all the resources to push up from their current position in the Liga. However, the prospect of seeing Rooney partner with Villa with Silva just behind them is the stuff dream teams are made of.

moggie you got the leeds results wrong...

its 2-2...beckford scored a penalty in the 96th minute...its a replay on the 2nd of feb at ellan road now...

A good round, getting a bit more predictable from here.

Chelsea look strong to retain trophy, hope that Leeds make it through.

I never seem to catch them, are Arsenal fielding full strength or youth team for FA cup?

arsenal always put a youth team or a team with mostly youth...look at the game against West Ham...Arsene said he is concentrating on the League so we just gta wait and see.

Yea, with Villa, United, Chelsea and Liverpool to come in the next 2 weeks of league football, i don't think Wenger can risk too many players with the injuries he has. Probably see Fabregas on the bench incase we need something to come from behind, but I don't see him starting cesc. I am quite sure we will see Campbell will make his second debut (if that makes any sense). I see him maybe even being handed the captains armband if Cesc doesn't start.

My Top 8 prediction sucks!

My Top 8 prediction was:
Aston Villa - Yes
Chelsea - Yes
Man City - Yes
Tottenham - Replay
Arsenal - Out
Everton - Out
Liverpool - Out
Man Utd - Out

I doubt whether Arsenal or Man City will join the "outs"!
