Fable 2 Thread

spell wise, what do you guys use? i only used a lot of timestop, lightning and a bit of fire. nothing else. serious gripe i have with the game is the same baddies will be in the same spot over and over and over again.

Whats the easiest way to switch between spells? I find it irritating moving to the d-pad in the middle of battle.

yeah that gets me too. you can pause the game in battle and use the spell selector, but come on...
what really annoys me is when you using potions or books or anything you have to go in menu and when u use said item, ur taken back to the main game screen again!! really frustrating when ur spamming xp potions and expression books, etc etc. accessing the menu is slow too!!

also use time stop and fire but i saw a guy on youtube use timestop and raise dead to great effect, worth a look-see

my usual will tactics are L2 raise dead as a 'meat shield' L3 slow time which all in all gives enough time to get into the middle of the fracas and enough time to save up for a level 7 inferno. :D

*********Possible spoilers***********

got a BIG heap of xp with the
1 master cleaver + ghoul augment + increased experience augment (great way to rake in XP with easy way of replenishing health)
2 level 3 time stop
3 level 5 lightning

at garth's tower before going to wraithmarsh and again with reaver on the beach. just dont access the portcullis or destroy the giant floating spire thingie. enemies continually teleport in. used time stop, then lightning, then whack a bit with cleaver for any health loss to repleninsh health.

crap. well there goes GOTY...how long did it take you to finish the main quest??

Took me about 7hours of gameplay to finish the main quest and a few side quests, buy most buildings and get married.

I even got my character completely good (just give plenty cash to the Temple of Light) and completely evil (just kill everyone you meet).

I found the game just far too easy and boring.

Once you get a level 5 spell like Inferno, its too easy to just burn everyone.

Even the final battle was so easy, i didnt even realise it was the final battle!!!!!!
I thought that finally, the battles would get a bit more challenging and then the freaking game ends?!?!?

anyone know whats the best sword?? or and i just married lady grey lmao!! any idea if theres any advantage in marrying her??

Well I just got the bigamy achievement ... what fun :p

7 hours? Jeepers I've been at it for 20+ and I think I'm barely 2 thirds through. I guess you get out what you put in.

Anyone want to sell their copy at a hugely discounted price, yet? I'm dying to play this game... :p

Well finished the game yesterday...it was/is awesome...the fun is only starting now.

Best sword is the Daichi....omg...it is awesome! :D
Best gun is the Enforcer...omg...it is awesome! :D

So i started up this awesome game on the weekend, and past the 'otherworldly chest' at the first Cullis Gate. Is there anyway to get back to the gate, when i eventually get online I can get the bonus LE content (and the "Master Chief" title :D)

It's easy enough, you should be able to get there simply via the "Regions" screen, if not head back to Bower Lake and you can go back in thesame way you came out.

Don't worry though, You'll go back there enough times. Oh, and get online before you open the chest, that's where the MC armour etc will be.

for those blocked:
"Infinite Experience *Pre-Patch*

Once you get into Bowerstone Market walk to Town Square. Once there you will find a potion shopkeeper on the left hand side. Walk around the right side of the buildings there and down an alley to find a house known as Monster Manor. Sleep in this manor to gain its benefit (+1 star of Physique) Once you gain this benefit, go to your abilities list, select physique and hit Y to unlearn it. You will find that the bonus star from the house does not disappear, but the experience is given to you anyway. You can repeat this process over and over, the more stars you have in physique the more exp you get each time. This experience is general experience and can be applied to any skills."

tried it and it works. neat glitch if you have no ethical concerns; though my take on rpgs is if you cheat you effectively fsck up the whole experiance. regardless, its useful if you wanna see every spell or wanna quickly get ahead on a new character

so now..I am playing an evil bitch...even though she looks cool and all...I dont like playing an evil character...the corrupt thing is a bit much...she is developing sores...and it is way to easy to kill innocents...

I'm hoping to get the 100% pure achievement, so no evil for me .. yet.

I can't wait to gather an adoring crowd in Bowerstone market ... switch off the goodies and let rip with a level 5 inferno :D

What affects purity/corruptness...want to get rid of the sores...it is making me look ugly to the sheep of bowerstone...it's getting harder and harder to find a date...
