Research in Motion launched a beta for the latest version of their BlackBerry Facebook application

Must admit, I hated the blackberry facebook app I downloaded straight from appworld. Facebook 2.0 however is waaay better. I actually use it now. Very user friendly.

Is it available for OS6 only or will it work on OS5?

Is there a way to get it without registering on beta world?

Nope - the software needs a key before it will run and RIM emails each beta user their own individual key based on their pin.
