Facebook 'like' tab question

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if there is a cost to placing a 'like' facebook tab/link on my website? I mean like the tab in this website that has '2k' next to it (top left of page). I was hoping to put a similar facebook tab onto my webpage, but don't know where to even begin, and what costs or 'royalties' are payable to FB.
