Vodacom seems to be inserting a link to their grid application into pages returned from m.facebook.com. I think this stinks. I'm paying for access to the internet and I expect to receive it unaltered. Vodacom has no right to alter traffic being sent to my phone. Next thing you know they're going to start reading adverts to you in the middle of a voice conversation! It's the exact same thing, so why not!!?? FFS!!!

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm switching back to MTN where they give you the internet, UNALTERED!

I havn't encountred this, And Vodacom still has th cheapest reliable cellphone internet

This was discovered a while back, if you look closely you might find it's actually a Vodafone link, and it's a deal between them and Facebook.
So Facebook are to blame, not Vodacom.

Update: Here's a link to the old thread.

Look at it from a business perspective. Its all about the bottom line. Companies are in it to make profit. The only loser here is us, the clients. No ones really to blame.

Oh is what you talking about those vodafone buttons atop of every webpage you view from your your phone?
