Facebook testing "truth detector"

No longer enslaved to FB, with all these experiments you don't know who is toying around with you online nowadays
 
I see that hoax about the Talking Angela app is doing the rounds again on FB. Maybe something to teach people to test the veracity of stuff like that before they share it.
 
Are people that stupid? I will not use such a feature, as I'd like to think my Facebook friends are intelligent enough to figure out satire from facts in articles I share.

But we know the reality is that most people share without even checking.... or reading.

It could be good to have a warning next to stuff that is known to have dubious evidence.

Only problem is then FB is telling us how to think....
 
So I guess CNN/Fox/BBC/RT/MSNBC and tons of others will be flagged?

1. Remove from society the great mental burden of discriminating between different sorts of communications, between joke, jest and serious fact.
2. Wait until society is totally dependent on your judgements.
3. Remove, or modify the judgements to suit your agenda
