Factory Reset Not Working

I have a Dixon tablet (sold by Cash Crusaders) and it crashed with an android corruption.

When I factory reset it, it starts and asks for WiFi settings (which connects fine).

Next step it asks whether I want to recover an account or setup a new account. I chose New Account but the next step it asks me to sign in to a google account which was used previously on the device. I have no idea what that account is.

Is there a way to do a 100% factory reset so that the Tablet does not need a previous google account?

Thank you

try sign in on Google, go to the Lost device section,
and reset the device from there?

otherwise you can try wipe all from recovery mode,

As I mentioned....I don`t have the Google details. I cannot sign in nor recover the tablet without the Google mail login and password.

So I need to do a 100% reset without the system recognizing that there was a previous user. (Almost like a format). Does that make sense?

I am thinking that getting a new sim will be the solution?

try to get into recovery Mode and wipe it from there, usually a Key combination that exists and reset from there.

This sounds like some of those low class tablets they gave away when you take out a cellphone contract. I had the same issue with a POS tablet I got from Vodacom, so I tossed it.

Edit: Sorry, no helpful advice.

Most android devices do this, you need to remove the google account from it before you do a factory reset else it's going to ask you for the google password associated with the device. Many people get caught out by this.

Ja...I ran into this problem when a staff member left our company and handed his company phone back. Reset it and then it wanted the previous Google account login. Took it straight to our support guys and asked them to please sort it out. Het nie krag vir die k@k nie.

But now I know for future. :)

If it's a samsung device SamFW Tool util with get rid of it with a single click, FRP King can be used for other devices.
