Are there any companies that can do advanced recovery from a failed drive, if so - could I have recommendations and cost estimates.

This is not for me - but someone else who has all their pesonal stuff on an external drive which has completely failed -and no backups.

I believe the drive is in the 2TB range, they're happy to ship it off where required.

Wasn't he on the forum - crawled my email - but can't find anything - the company name seems familiar.
He was on the forum but have not seen him around for years. Think his name was Southbit. He is good at recovery.

East Africa Hi Tech Solutions is a professional Data Recovery Company. They have a team of experienced engineers who can recover data from a wide range of storage devices, including hard drives, SSDs, USB drives, Memory Cards, Mobile Phones, Servers, NAS, Laptops, Macbooks, Ransomware, SAN, SCSI, SAS, Desktops, Flash Drives, Sd Cards, Cf Cards, Cctv Drives, Formatted Drives, Deleted Files, Virtual Drives ie Vmdk & Vhd, Encrypted Images, Windows Os, Ios, Passwords, Emails, Tapes, Bitlocker, Quickbooks Files, SQL database, Bitlocker, Tally Files etc.
Seriously..?

Are you going to pay for shipping the device all the way to Kenya for the recovery and shipping back down to South Africa..?
