Fair price for lens?

I've got a Sigma 70-300 for Nikon that I'd like to sell.

What would be a fair price? Keep in mind no AF and no VR. Its a pretty crappy lens to be honest.

Thinking about 500 bucks to move it ASAP.

Edit...I'm on the other side of world, so no you can't have it.

Looking on E-bay the AF version seems to be going for R1000 BUT you say that yours is the older non AF version that R500 sounds like a more realistic price

Does seem like it. Got a response within hours...but when I messaged back highlighting that its not AF I didn't get a response.

Will leave it for a week & then drop to 500 I guess.
