Does anyone have experience with faircom?

I have to select an ISP now, its between Afrihost and Axxess at the moment. But I see Faircom offers a unshaped uncapped 50/50 Fibre for R850 per month.

Literally any ISP would be better than those two. So why not try Faircom? If they offer month-month you have nothing to lose and can move if the service is sub-par.

Out of experience I can recommend: CISP and Rocketnet.

Go for CISP (cool ideas) or home connect... Both great ratings

Great thanks, I see they included free router and connection etc.

Good prices R909 @ 50/50, R1009 @ 100/100.

Faircoms 50/50 is R59 cheaper per month on both packages but you do not get a router. They do however mention something about qualifying for a free router, looks like you have to do a 12 month contract then.

But for R59 per month more its probably better to go with cool ideas. Considering their popularity on myBB I assume their 50/50 equals 50/50 and unshaped actually means unshaped?

RSAWeb has the exact same price for the 100/100MBps (R1 009). Comes with free router, installation and an additional 1GB mobile data per month.

Also, service is awesome with that dedicated account manager. Ask michael.nicoll@RSAWEB.net and just tell him you want to know the price for the 50/50 on Frogfoot. Cool Ideas is pretty good but these guys are quite good

Put "Queue" down for refferals if you wanna be nice We save when we get those

Are you an official Rep for RSAWeb - seems like you punting them all over the forum? If so, best clear this with the mods/ @rpm else you might just get banned.

I'm checking the frogfoot packages now on the frogfoot website.

Vox gives 100/50 for R958, the 50 upload is fine for me. Also free router installation etc. But they give the first 2 months free. The only thing that bothers me is that they say uncontrolled unshaped "No FUP" on the frogfoot website, but on the Vox website there is a Fair user policy document when you you click the 2 months free offer. The document however refers to openserve. They bring our speed down to 50mbps after you go over 1000GB.

A bit confusing. Does anyone have experience with Vox?

Edit: Just read another thread with people having issues with Vox. For R50 for I will probably go with Cool Ideas. The 2 months free looked attractive though.

The money that you save won't be worth the hassle with a company like Vox. The network is solid, but their support is horrendous.
