Fake WordPress denial-of-service prevention pages riddled with trojan malware
Sucuri researchers have discovered an increase in fake distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection popups tricking WordPress users into downloading remote access trojan malware.
“We recently discovered a malicious JavaScript injection affecting WordPress websites which results in a fake Cloudflare DDoS protection popup,” Sucuri said.
