Fallout 3 Errors - Please help

Hi all.

I recently got a copy of Fallout3 (Bit late, I know)

I just wanted to find out, did everybody else have crash after crash while playing it? It is so annoying! And Yes, it is Patched to lastest patches. Pc specs can handle it with ease. Tried editing the .ini files and all those other tricks.

Such a pity cause it looks really awesome

I stopped playing mine coz of the bugs - the crash to desktop without explanations. I must be honest, I haven't tried it since. I would recommend setting all our in-game settings to lowest except the screen resolution, make sure your GFX and Sound card drivers are all up to date, then gradually up the graphics settings as you go along to see if there something there causing it.

Thanks leelo. Did try that but without much help. Will check out my drivers. Been while since updated those. Even then tho, drivers are way newer then the game. You would like that they have a full fix for game considering it been around for while now.

I had the odd CTD myself, annoying but not frequently enough that it became a problem. Maybe try one of the no-cd cracks if you're running the disc version rather than the steam one, see if that doesn't help you?
