Fallout

I loved Fallout 2 and enjoyed Tactics, but never finished the original Fallout. Only made it to Junktown. I want to get the boxed set, but can't find anywhere with copies. Any suggestions?

Fallout 2 is and remains one of the best rpg's ever made.I bought my box set(1&2) when I was in the UK for ₤4.99 at virgin megastores.

I really wish they'd bring us a fallout 3

Bethesda's working on it... supposedly I guess when they decide that there's enough horse armour in Oblivion they'll get going properly. Still beats me why Interplay canned Van Buren.

Virgin in the UK doesn't really help me...

Man, Fallout 2 is my ALL TIME favourite game! If you guys know where I can buy 1 and 2 (just like the original poster asked), let me know! I'll buy it in a heart beat!

Still beats me why Interplay canned Van Buren.

They ran out of money I think and they had huge problems moving from the working Bioware 2D isometric engine they used for all their titles to their own homegrown one that was to be based on the Monolith one that powered their "No One Lives Forever" game series.

Gamespot has a nice series of interviews with the folks who worked on Van Buren.
