False Teeth/Dentures

Ok, so after finally convincing my dad to get his teeth looked at, it turns out he has to yank some and get a new denture plate. He is stubborn and has refused to do this before now because he has no medical aid and refuses to be a burden (old people! )

Anyway so the cheap plate costs about R2k, but its not the best one, the best one has a metal frame but costs about R5k.
I have heard that you can get false teeth and dentures cheaper if you go directly to the people that make it, and that it happens faster.

Anyone know of such a place on the east rand?

Implants not a possibility? More expensive but with dentures you have bone loss in the jaws

and on that note, yesterday at work one of my friends handed me a small box about the size of a watch box so I thought it was a watch and when I opened it it was a set of dentures, both top and bottom and brand new by the looks.
