I am feeling disconnected from the world today, but not enough to forget my woes!

Would rather not reveal too much; suffice to say that nothing seems to be easy when dealing with family/stepfamily/inlaws : some are racist, some are unforgiving, some are just like rubbernecks at an accident scene, whilst the rest is out to get more than their pound of flesh.

Luckily Mr Blu and I are in this together and feeling the same about these things (team Blu!). If the trials and tribulations turned us against each other, I guess the evil peeps out there could have claimed success.

I've never been in a relationship where the family as a whole accepts me. It is always one parent, or one family member that completely hates me and sees me as this evil being coming in to destroy the happy little fairytale they call family. Pffft.

Family can be so over-rated. I love them all, dont get me wrong, but I only actually enjoy the company of... well... my daughter :/ My sisters are crazy (each in their own special, special way), my mother is Satan in a human form and my dad is the She-Devil's apathetic husband.

My daughter is pretty spiffy though. Especially when she sings along to Hannah Montanna.

Luckily I got a great family. Had a few major issues but nothing that ever left me feeling "disconnected from the world" for long if ever.
