Is it weird that I'm more excited for Banjo Kazooie than I am for Fable, Gears and Endwar?

I'll attack MGS 4 for now :p

Firstly Where's the Id!ot that said mgs takes up a whole blu ray DVD ! found the true size of mgs 4 !

MGS4's size is roughly 32GB.

- Given that there's a main 4.5GB install plus additional installs per Act, how probable is it that they duplicated data on the disc?

- Audio must be the main factor taking up so much space if the 18GB of free space (again, rough estimate) isn't enough for an extra language track (according to Ryan Payton, iirc).

Each act on a seperate DVD for the 360 why couldnt Kojima think of that ! :rolleyes:

Oh and those 2 prerecorded cgi cutscenes were to complex for the ps3 to do in real time that's why it got prerendered :D

memory issues, given the size of the location and number of complex models on-screen in the first one end of act 3, pre-rendered sequence begins when Liquid's boat leaves the shore, and the various locations displayed in the second sequence begins when Snake enters the room with the AI and goes through various locations in and outside of the ship.

20Gigs of the game is used for Audio (dont think they've heard of audio compression) which means data code and textures only takes up about 12 gigs.

UPV, dumbfounded? I'd say he either does not understand the evidence or chooses to ignore it. There has yet to be a case where anything we've thrown out there has left him speechless (even though it should :p )

Kojima is telling fibs again. It is well known that you can view the data on PS3 games and remove any extra padding added. Did he really think nobody would be able to break the disc tree down to see what that 50gigs is made up of?

Exactly ! most torrent sites will have the ISO and on almost all of them the file size is around 30+ Gigs.

Taken from an NFO on a certain site that has scene dump info:

324 x 100MB = 32.4 Gigs

Alot of gaming disks uses empty sectors for piracy protection, e.g the ps1 did it, the ps2 did it, the xbox 360 is doing it (have u ever seen an 8.4 gig 360 game yet ! most games go up to a max of 7.5) and the ps3 is probably also doing it !
