"Hi my names doobi and I... I.. I used to be a Wii fanboy (blush). It's been 18 months since I last craved the swish and waggle of Mario. It started with a promise, but when Futronic folded as the Wii launched, I thought the world would end, I thought I'd have to do the unthinkable- import, or worse. Sell my children and get a second job to buy a Playstation 3.
For weeks I watched as the rest of the world wiggled and waggled, but my envy faded. As each days passed and as each report came in of boredom, as each con came and went without a real killer app, I yearned no more.
Then a miracle happened brother. A good friend took me under his wing and without a word passed me a 360 controller and Gears of War on an HD Projector. Hellelujah! Everything became so clear. Every Beserker was a Mario, every chainsawed locust another butchered bleedying pokemon, it was glorious!
So I am the converted, and all the better for it. While Mario wh0r3s himself out for the millionth time, the best of the new old school is to be found on the 360: Kameo, VP, Banjo, Crash, Guitar Hero there are all here in fantasic hi-def and surround sound. So what more could you want? Oh yeah, online, enough said ...
