I can't seem to find a place on you're site to post comments about the general site so I'm starting one here.

First of all, it's a great site. You've started to add insight to links as well as post original posts which is the most important step for any up and coming blog-style site and it keeps me visiting it every day.

But... (you knew that was coming...) It's too busy. Between the adverts and menu options appearing half way down the screen the ease of navigation is lost.

I'm not sure if anyone else feels this but I'd like you to view this as constructive criticism, I'm not too sure which forum you're most popular on but it would be a good move of MyBroadband to give you you're own subsection off here to discuss matters related to you're site.

Keep up the great work, you're an asset to the South African console gamers.

Ps. If you start a forum off the site, please keep it to gaming. Don't start discussing politics/religious issues.

Ta :D

I also think its a great site but(A small but) the layout is too clusterd. When clicking on a story you 'Almost' have to look for it as theres so much other stuff on the screen.
Again it is truelly a great site content wise, id say its my favourite gaming site.

I disagree, I like the format, the two most important things, the articles and the comments, are all there, quick and easy to find. I think the very worst thing Lazy could do is add a forum, the local community is spread thin enough already. If you want to discuss something discuss it in the comments. If you want to get bigger than that, just discuss it here.

The blog format is nice and personal. If I want more categorized content I'm afraid the internationals are always going to be bigger and better.

In terms of speaking directly to lazy, the contact us link is on the left ;)

If you're wondering about the forums, I see it like this:
fanboys on the left and right (xbox-360 & ps3za)
flamebate in the middle (myADSL)
constructive debate (Prophecy)
Matchmaking (txl)

But, as always, that's me.

I don't have a general comments facility as such but you can always email me or post here :)

yay Now I can take the BUT...

But... (you knew that was coming...) It's too busy. Between the adverts and menu options appearing half way down the screen the ease of navigation is lost.

Unfortunately the adverts are required to pay bills and expand, I wish my bank manager would take good will as payment but he refuses ;),

However you lost me on the menu options half way down idea?

I do my best to frequent all the major local forums but I obviously cannot be everywhere at the same time... here is good.. I like it here...

Thanks, compliments give you extra credits when entering the comps...

Seriously though I am always open for comments, criticism, flaming or just plain bribery... If anyone has thoughts on how to improve the site then please let me know..

I know now that I have extra people adding content the main stories are disappearing to quickly and I am working on fixing that...

There is a redesign in the process but it's in the early stages so don't hold your breath just yet...

The base idea of the new design is to move the categories (Wii, PS3, 360...) to the top under the banner, add a features block and that is where I have gone blank...

help....

Ps. If you start a forum off the site, please keep it to gaming. Don't start discussing politics/religious issues.

A forum is the most requested feature for the site but honestly I am not overly excited about adding one, as doobiwan rightly pointed out we are not a huge community and the xbox-360 and ps3za guys are doing a fantastic job themselves...

However I will never say never but unless something changes the forum isn't in my direct plans for the future...

Where do you host the site?

The categories should be at the top imo.

I've taken a screenshot because I think I might be running quite at quite a narrow resolution (1280 x 1024).

ah okay I see what you mean now...

why haven't you voted :p

The header is being changed to include the categories on it so that should solve the biggest problem there really...

I will have a chat about the banner sizes, possibly a bit thinner would be better...

Thanks for the feedback though, I will make sure it's included in the next theme design

I think your blog looks good Gavin. I'm not much of a Gamer, but I have visited about once or twice.

I wish you the best and hope to see you expand more ;)

Gavin can't you do something like txl does, to create a toipic say in the xbox-360
, ps3 forum, or in here everytime you post a new story for discussion, like txl does when a new match get created. ?

Then you don't need a forum but but it can link to one of the current one;s

The problem with that really is that xbox-360 offer the same type of news that I do so theoretically at least we are competing..

However when I chat to MiNeM again I will bring it up

Why not do what MyBroadband does and give credit at the bottom. I assume they've also asked for permission to post the story.

How do you mean?

I do give credit on the bottom when I post articles related to another site... Or are you saying I should post the stories on the forum and link back?

No, no. Like in the News section of MyBroadband, they'll take stories from ITWeb etc. That way they're not stealing stories from another site, merely reproducing them.

Sorry you have lost me completely :)

I do post stories from other sites but I always put my own thoughts onto them, I don't copy word for word..

MyBroadband is allowed to do it for certain sites because they pay for the right to do that...

I like your websites new look Gavin!
Theres less 'stuff' in my way now:)
Just click on an article and get the article with comments.SWEET.

Loads a bit slower now for some reason (prolly just me) but me still likes the site bru.

Hmm I must look into that..

Which part do you fell loads slowly?
I know the comments are now taking longer to load due to some added features but I wouldn't want the stories to load slower.....
