Hi guys,

Wondering if there is a way to do this, I would like to add my email address to the custom word list. The problem is that the username (the bit before the @ sign) has a dot in it so Swiftkey, being Swiftkey puts in a space and capitalises the next letter. So why don't you just click on the word before you push the .? I have tried that but it just accepts that as a new word. I want it to store my entire email address as a single custom word, is there a way to manually add this?

I used swiftkey for a short time and that's one of the reasons I stopped using it and moved over to Perfect Keyboard, even gave swift another chance with V3, but still just as irritating as V2.

I don't get the problem. Example [email protected] ? I have no problem teaching swiftkey that.

Edit: yes just back-space after the full stop

Edit2: also using "precise" typing style.

like.this.you.mean??

After you do the full stop, just use the back key.

Edit: on second read, I catch your problem. Sorry, please ignore

Mine doesn't do that... Try changing the "typing style" option to precise instead of fast. Fast goes a little nuts with the autocorrect sometimes.

Or just try typing the email address in an SMS and saving it, then use learn from SMS?

Thanks I'll give that a shot.
