So how's it going with the game everyone? ... from what I've read on some other forums, people are major pi$$ed at all the glitches, but apparently there's a large patch being released soon?
I'm loving the hell out of FC4. Gorgeous mountainous backdrop and same great gameplay from FC3.
Seems decently big from what I have seen, it's really a disappointment the graphics. Also bit ****ty game play(I hate the mouse movement, but thats all farcrys) and literally you can shoot guys 5/6 times and they just shrug it off.
I haven't had problems killing hostiles. Perhaps you should upgrade your weapons, or get a bit closer before opening fire.
I have the mouse sensitivity on max and it's fine. Don't know why the game has such slow movement by default.
The graphics are excellent. Are you running the game on ultra? I spend a decent portion of my game time just marvelling at the visuals.
uPlay is garbage and therefore I do not buy Ubisoft games any more.
Uplay is indeed the worst piece of software ever created. Unfortunately, I'm not prepared to miss out on Far Cry and Rayman games. Splinter Cell Blacklist was also awesome and I'd definitely buy a sequel.
Don't forget that Ubisoft games bought on Steam download and update through Steam, have community hubs as usual and are only subject to a lightweight Uplay intrusion when playing the games.

In two minds if I should get this. I want Witcher 3 birthdays another 3 or 4 months.
PC is the leading FC4 platform. Awesome graphics, mods and the map editor are only going to happen on PC.
I haven't had any lingering technical issues in FC4 on PC. There was major screen tearing in the opening cutscene, but V-sync fixed that. Absolutely no issues after, and framerate is good with settings on ultra.
