FarCry2 And HD4850 trouble

so i just got farCry2, and my pc plays it fairly well, i get around about 45 avg fps in benchmarking (ultra high)... but wile i play the game, so 20min into it it starts getting laggy and runs as if the fps is @ 13FPS....although the FPS never drops below 35 FPS, then i have to quit and restart to get back for another 20-30min of gaming. (wonder what it will do in GTA IV)

please can someone give some advice...

got all the latest updates...

Graphics runs @ 48 degrees idle and 70 degrees load... no AA or AF
CPU runs @ 56 degrees (just got new cooler gigabyte G-Power 2) not seems to realy cool the CPU Though..mmm

ati 9.1 ?...there was a bug with 8.x release and more than one core in vista. latest dx rdsk and lastly defrag.

then try the 9.x drivers.
rdsk; i meant the direct x 9 redistribution for nov2008.

apart from that i wouldn't know- thats why i suggested a defrag which might help.

ja so it didnt work...and the 9.X Drivers SUCKS..hahah it makes weird shadow and textures now...but anyways...use to it
