Photos with descriptions in the article. I see some were armed, so it is possible that it may have been a 'protester' which discharged his weapon. You shouldn't take a weapon into those buildings.
Ditto 1976, you should not take a weapon in a protest en route to a police station.

I wonder if this will spark an increase in AWB and Boereligion memberships..... are the AWB even operating anymore?

I believe it is a casper (?)

Willem Petzer was there and he says the police indeed drove 'into' the protesting crowd before hitting the building and then the protesters pushed it back as you say.

That is a Nyala, this below is a Casspir, those who served in the police and military will know well,

I don't even think the SAPS is using the 'new' Casspir.

LMFAO, dude... commandos that were used to protect women and children on farms were abolished long time ago by our glorious reverse racist black Nazi ANC regime, and that suites Cele just fine, murder and plunder can take place more efficiently. And the police does not have to lift a finger to do it themselves.

Not unless you expect the need to use it against either the police or an opposing mob. Lets be honest, this was basically a disciplined mob that was not intent on widescale violence. Instead they did focused self defensibly violence..... if they rioted the building would not still be standing.

Suidlanders and the like, but there are groups like these which aren't a threat due to them, actually, engaging private protection purposes. I know about one group which wrongly pointed out as the AWB type right here on MyBb, they probably have as many black members as white members.

The Casspir was discontinued because it was "too aggressive for a democratic society" but it would have been perfect for the barbarity we witnessed today.

Exactly.

There were many tractors there that would have made light work of that.

Except that the Suidlanders are a group preparing for a post chaos scenario, there is no Suidlanders active group that would operate the way the AWB did.

That's why I said ditto. The protesting farmers at Senekal were disciplined as well and the argument raised that they should not carry weapons then applies to 1976 as well. Having said that, one report from an alternative source said that a shot from the 1976 protesters went off before the police starting shooting, but another said that a molotov cocktail (not thrown but inserted into a vehicle) was ignited after breaching the fence. Who knows what really happened.

Reasonable explanation.
The unions and other rioters also give such reasonable explanations when their members start burning **** at their numerous violent protests.
- the police provoked us
- the march was infiltrated by criminal elements
- anyone can buy one of our t shirts
- they were not our members
etc etc

you call whites standing up for their rights savages and barbarians.

What should we have called the blacks who petrol bombed whites and black and tyre lynched (necklaced) their own people when they were fighting for their rights? mmm
