To get back on topic, if I was one of the leaders of the farmers who protested afterwards, I would be on point and get to the point. Admit the destruction of property, but motivate the act with genuine grievances, needs and requirements from the state, etc. The ordinary citizen will then be reasoned with truth, and better understand the deeds of the protesters and may even relate to the reason which caused the destruction of property. The biggest issue with the union in this country is the lack of understanding of each other, it isn't easy, but it is time to turn our plights into the public interest backed by the people. We better be honest with each other.
