If they're just dead and swollen up like that photo it is most likely poisoning of some kind.

Sheep and goats are know here as take aways because they'll just be carried off or you'll find half the carcass were the thieves hacked of some choice cuts.

And this how any normal non confrontational person would have taken it. But some of these mybb members are just out to be right and don't care if it cost the cause it's credibility.

Not that we need photos of dead goats to all agree that stock theft is completely out of hand.

How many times have you told us that you have full time security to protect your grapes.

You do realise how ridiculous that is, right?

The full time security is more to protect the premises as we've had many break ins, and of course it's out of hand. This country is a shithole as they steal anything that can move, and then even some things that can't move. I've had a R600k + cooling system carried away over one single weekend. So I know that.

I'm also not only referring to the stock theft thing, we've had how many people now posting a video of a guy setting that van on fire? There had now been quite a few fake news articles in here.

It is pathetic but it is out of control everywhere. The farmers are frustrated but I don't think making it racial is the way to go, and after reading the reports how nothing is done, I don't know why this was not raised online and in detail sooner.

I know some customers of mine that are having issues with the EFF thugs in their area stealing their power, and their suburb has been without power for months. They say they call the police, eskom reconnects the power and the next day it is back to the way it was. They have also had their families threatened if they contact the police. Doesn't make news.

We had a farm near where I stayed, guy had horses, sheep, some cattle had been there for over 30 years. Squatters moved in, they broke down his stables for their shacks, they killed all of his livestock. Guy left and moved to Greece. His plot of land is now just barren and keeps getting overrun with squatters.

But hey, they got their land, the all important land that they can't maintain.
 
I am starting to see a pattern in media of blaming the police and emphasizing that black farmers are just as vulnerable etc to draw attention away from most farmers being tortured are white..... which is fine, go with that. I would not be surprised if this actually leads to a new unity.... against the ANC & EFF and anyone stupid enough to be apologetic for them. It's a PR campaign that won't necessarily have the results people think it will.

Well they did pay millions only for BP to recommend that everything is blamed on WMC when the ANC were blaming Jan and Apartheid already.

Even by the ANCs standard that was a waste of money.
