I'm happy for those that managed to escape this country I hope they're better of there than here but the reasoning for it can cause some problems in the future especially when it's discovered to be a lie which I don't know because I can't find anything genuine enough or unbiased since most of them give different conclusions

A 73-year-old pensioner narrowly escaped with his life after a brutal attack that left him with severe head trauma.

Jan Jurgens (73) and his wife, Antoinette (72), live on a farm along the Uitkyk Road. On Monday, May 12, at around 18:45, Jan was in a storeroom fetching animal feed when at least two robbers attacked him.

Robbers bring banking services to farm robbery - Withdrawals made on scene
Robbers in the Eastern Cape are making their robberies more economical by bringing banking services to the scene of the robbery and making cash withdrawals on the scene.
Five armed men, four of them wearing balaclavas, robbed a farmhouse in the Orange Groove area of Ngangelizwe, Mthatha, on Wednesday, May 22 at around 22:00.
The robbers held the homeowner and his girlfriend at gunpoint and tied them up with rope. The suspects demanded the victim’s bank card and withdrew cash at the scene of the robbery, using a card payment machine (a so-called 𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵 device or POS terminal) that they brought with them.
According to police spokesperson Captain Welile Matyolo, the suspects also stole some of the homeowner’s belongings before fleeing the scene.
Two of the five robbers were later arrested at the Mthatha Plaza Mall. “The police recovered cash and some of the victim’s belongings from them,” Matyolo said. The other three suspects, however, managed to flee.
𝘏𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘥 inquired about the ownership of the bank card machine and whether it was registered in the name of one of the businesses inside the Mthatha Plaza Mall, where the suspects were apprehended.

Mother and two daughters. Mother attacked with machete. Daughter phoned cops for help.

Attack was ~02h30, cops only pitched after 10h00 - apparently upon learning Petzer was there.

Attack at ~02h00. Cops pitched after 10h00, after new station commander asked about report on his desk.
