As if I account for 26 pages by a variety of authors and you are welcome to post the articles of black farmers/farm-workers murdered yourself. Who the hell do you think you are anyway with your stupid challenge and accusations. PLUS, I do have an affinity for white farmers, not because they are white but because of my right to free association which entails a historic perspective of this country and Boer/Afrikaner history. Just piss-off already.

Just ignore the ignoramus. He's sucking the rear scud again! You posted about white farmers. I would like him to post about black farmers not that it matters to me as a farmer is a farmer irrespective but I would love to see him do it and then explain the difference in numbers and violence.

UPDATE: FARM MURDER; Farmer's name is Christo Kruger, murdered between Kathu/Kuruman NC tonight.

UPDATE: Farm murder between kathu and kuruman. 3 suspects ,1 arrested

So much negativity in this thread based on various factors - mainly race. I saw a post on FB doing the rounds, and it really put things into perspective for me. It went something like this: you may need a lawyer once or twice in your life, a doctor a few times more. But you need a farmer every single day of your life.

Farmers are attacked, regardless of race, because they're relatively easy targets, and are offered little or no protection by local law enforcement or the government. We need to protect all farmers, because their produce keeps South Africa alive. Without them, we die. It's really that simple.

I think we tend to notice White farmers being murdered a lot more, because even though they're a minority race group, they still occupy (I speak subject to correction) the majority of farms in the country. Same with murders of Whites in general: there are so many Black people, comparatively, that when they're victims of crime, it generally goes unnoticed. Because Whites are such a small group, any sort of negative action towards them sticks out like a sore thumb. I also understand where the whole "genocide" idea may come from: there are so few Whites, at the rate they're dying off, it may appear that the country will eventually "run out" of them if they're constant victims of violent crime? We simply don't reproduce at the same rate as Black people, either. So numbers may, in fact, be dwindling.
 
Kuruman - Police in the Northern Cape are investigating an alleged murder case after a 64-year-old man from Kuruman was found dead on his farm last night.

Police spokesperson, Sergio Kock, says the man was allegedly shot.

The incident is thought to have taken place at around 20:00 on the farm, some 25km outside Kuruman towards Kathu.
