Farm Attacks

Just stumbled into this thread. What in the actual **** is going on in here? It's like a klan meeting.

The nature of the attacks speak for themselves. Not really anything new to add, but merely, elaborate on.
 
If people feel that the government isn't doing anything or they're responsible for these attacks in some way, why are people not looking at solutions from the private sector? Armed security patrols etc.
I'm not speaking about armed response.
Something like a well organized security force. Is there anything like this in SA?
 
I'm tired of seeing everything turn into a race debate.
We South African's seem to be such a race obsessed nation.

We focus so much on race that we forget that the problems we face have solutions.
We forget that we're all in the same melting pot.

Pretty much in the fact that only white deaths are considered, maybe?

Mr. Marais has a fairly obvious agenda, and it is not at all related to facts about the murder/attack rate, rather it is related to his tiresome personal bias that "whites are being targeted"

Agreed, it seems that when any altercation happens between different races it is automatically race related. No consideration that maybe one of the party regardless of race is a fck wit.

arguing or fighting with someone with a different colour skin does not automatically make it racism.

Just like with neighbourhood watches you probably get many who don't want to get involved or are proactive in upping their security or willing to spend money on upping their security.
 
Please feel free to post articles regarding farm attacks where the victims are of any race, I just post what I come across.

Farm workers don't report it because they mostly deserved a good beating (theft, drunk, damage to property etc)
 
Or may it is just time to admit that this is not the UK or US where blacks have been westernized to a great extent, and there is a propensity for violence in South Africa. Farm attacks were not common before 1994 (there were a few incidents yes) and c. 1992 eeeevil apaatheid intelligence said that farm security must be spruced up as reports came in that farms could be targets, plans were drawn under C. Viljoen to counter attacks and these fell away in the NSA.
 
Or just admit that this is a violent society and people of all races suffer?

Or maybe just admit that you only care about whites, specifically, white Afrikaners?

Nonsense, the media jumps at any white on black atrocities, links it to Apartheid as far as possible, make it very clear if it were Afrikaners involved and make news of it for months on end.

Are farm workers killed in farm attacks killed by white people? Stop frothing at the mouth and think for a bit.

Doubt it. As said, farm attacks were scarce prior to 1994. The attackers are quasi revolutionaries as intelligence reports stated c. 1992. The revolutionaries are attacking mostly white farm owners and their mostly black farm workers. It is not a simple world of crime will follow demographics therefore it is so just because it makes sense to the rational mind.
