Farm Attacks

Or may it is just time to admit that this is not the UK or US where blacks have been westernized to a great extent, and there is a propensity for violence in South Africa. Farm attacks were not common before 1994 (there were a few incidents yes) and c. 1992 eeeevil apaatheid intelligence said that farm security must be spruced up as reports came in that farms could be targets, plans were drawn under C. Viljoen to counter attacks and these fell away in the NSA.

Where do you think this propensity for violence comes from? What irks me, besides the total ignorance that some spew, is the lack of understanding of our present ****, due to **** ups and narrow mindedness of the past. Yes, lets just fast forward through "eeeevil apaatheid", nothing too major...right there, is the genesis of most of our crap...and people like, you will never get to that point of admitting this fact, and continue to spew your ignorance.

Well that didn't take long...

It is not racism, racism entails prejudice and concepts of inherent inferiority. I am focussed on the African way of doing things, a culture which is vastly different to the West. And as stated previously, I don't think culture is genetic. We are indeed cursed that we have different skin colours because everything is seen through that filter. If one white nation dislikes or even despises another white nation then it's ok, but when skin colour is predominant in cultural association then it becomes wrong.

Yeah well, works both ways. Due to Apartheid or Apartheid because of. Think the attacks on the Cape East border were warranted ? Think the smashing of babies against ox-wagon wheels and rocks were warranted ?

Ox wagon...-:wtf:... right, I see what we dealing with here, and I am not partaking in this. Came to a conclusion long time ago : If there is no Road to Damascus moment in the ignorant, you wasting your time.

It would be easy for me to judge you and presume to understand your life. To laugh at your beliefs, but I won't.
In my mind you're just a man trying to raise a family and wants the best for that family. Who wants to protect his family. The same as me.

Etienne, whatever your opinion on race is, that is your opinion to have. Whether I agree with your statements or not, you are entitled to express them.
I'm not white and I don't care what the color of your skin is. My prayers are for the protection of my family as well as yours.

Well said Maxum, and thank you.

Well the brand of racism seems the same regardless.

Provide one farm murder where it was white perpetrator and black victim. Oh wait...

Farm workers don't report it because they mostly deserved a good beating (theft, drunk, damage to property etc)

+1 I know some real dutchmen from the klein karoo and the farm workers have bad drinking habits. They also don't know how to spend their money which is a shame because they are always broke.

Or just admit that this is a violent society and people of all races suffer?

Or maybe just admit that you only care about whites, specifically, white Afrikaners?
Well, who produces our food? White farmers. Without them the black labourers are just unskilled labour that have unused ground. Look at Zim.

Limpopo farmers locked in cold room overnight by attackers

Kaveel Singh, News24

Polokwane - A man was locked with the body of his wife in a cold storage room on a game farm in the Thabazimbi area after they had been robbed by two suspects.

Police discovered the injured man, his deceased wife and a friend of the couple on Saturday after they had been locked in the storage room by two suspects.

Police spokesperson Ronel Otto said 59-year-old Magrieta Petronella Res and her husband Bruno from Matlopi Farm were welcoming a woman friend on Friday when they were overpowered by two unknown suspects.

“According to preliminary information they demanded the safe keys before locking all three into a cold store room. In the process the deceased was shot in her upper body and her husband in the arm. The suspects fled the scene,” he said.

Otto added that the injured were only discovered on Saturday when more visitors “arrived for an appointment and heard their cries for help”.

The police forcefully opened the door to the room and found the three. The injured man was taken to a hospital at Thabazimbi for treatment. The visitor was not injured,” Otto said.

No arrests have been made.

Otto said police have not yet confirmed exactly what was taken during the incident.

“It is believed that firearms were taken from the safe. Trackers, K9 and forensic members are assisting with the investigation,” he added.

Man held after farmer locked in safe with dead wife

Jenni Evans, News24

Johannesburg - Police are questioning a farmworker on Sunday after a Thabazimbi game farmer was robbed and locked in a safe with his dead wife and a guest.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Ronel Otto said that, because of poor reception in the remote area where the couple lived, some details of the murder, which took place on Friday night but was only discovered on Saturday, have been clarified.

Magrieta Petronella Res and her husband Bruno were welcoming a guest at their Matlopi farm in a remote part of the Limpopo bushveld when two people overpowered them.

They demanded the keys to the walk-in safe and locked the three inside, but not before shooting Res in her head and her husband in the arm.

Otto said the safe had no ventilation and Bruno Res bled profusely from the wound to his arm.

He and their guest had to spend until noon on Saturday inside the safe with Magrieta's body until they were freed by visitors who heard them crying out for help.

Bruno Res was taken to a hospital for treatment. Their friend was not injured.

Forensic specialists and trackers with dogs worked the scene and arrested a farmworker who worked on a different farm for being in possession of ammunition.

Police also believe that, based on tracks, four people may have been involved in the robbery and murder.

Five firearms including hunting rifles, a 9mm pistol and a shotgun were stolen.

Broken iron saves farm couple from torture

News24 Correspondent

Pilgrim's Rest - Three suspects are on the run after holding two victims at gunpoint and trying to torture them with a hot iron at the Doornhoek Farm in Pilgrim's Rest, Mpumalanga.

This was the second farm attack to occur in Mpumalanga over the weekend.

According to police spokesperson Constable Khethumuzi Nkosi, in the second incident three suspects wearing gloves and balaclavas entered a house on the farm at around 22:00 on Saturday and harassed the occupants.

"Two victims were tied up with a rope and chains after three armed men entered their house. They demanded cash and firearms from the victims.

"The suspects wanted to use an iron to burn the victims, identified as Cornelius Pierneef, 31, and his fiance, Saran Christie, 21, but the couple’s iron was broken," said Nkosi.

He said the suspects fled the scene with a 12-gauge shotgun, a double-barrel shotgun, a .243 hunting rifle with a telescope and an 11mm Mauser antique rifle, along with jewellery and two Samsung cellphones.

"The getaway car that was used was a gold VW Golf TDI 2004 Limited Edition which was also stolen from the farm and later found abandoned in Hazyview on Sunday," he said.

A case of house robbery has been opened.

On Friday evening, an elderly couple were brutally assaulted with a hot iron on their farm in Badfontein, before being robbed of their cellphones, three firearms and R20 000 cash.

These farm attacks remind me of the Kenya Mau Mau and their terrible tourtue tactics.
My dad was a Chief Inspector of Police there in those days and the things he told us were terrible.

Spot on I have been saying this for years.
There was a documentary made some years back about them and the similarities are there

Oh OK. The nations or tribes of this country was very peaceful and never attacked other tribes and the settling foreigners that invaded "their" land. The history of the african tribes moving south was all a concocted fallacy story by no other than the the settlers. The settlers then must have taught the tribes how to kill and only then they became savages.

We get it. It seems nothing changed since then.

All those illegal guns in this country, why do you think they where smuggled here in the first place?

Agree 100%

Farm attacks equate to domestic terrorism , they are attacking the very heart of the nation, the food supply.
