Farm Attacks

So many people fail to realise the importance of farmers in SA: they literally provide the food that you put on your table every night.

This isn't about white vs black. This is about protecting the people who ensure that we don't all starve to death.

Make a stand, fight for them, or end up like Zimbabwe.

100% spot on.

The problem is no matter what this will be made out to be a white problem and used to drive racist agendas. Yet, we have fully functional black farmers too who go through exactly the same thing. I have a Black neighbour where I stay. He too is a farmer and goes through exactly the same thing we're all going through.

This is true but a very large source of the problem is racially fueled. The implications is spot on but solving the problem requires people not to premote the murder of farmers the way these groups are.

No one is doubting that. There is racial undertones to it especially the brutality involved. But it's not a racial issue as we all suffer crimes on the farms, black and white, workers and owners from all races. Security in the faming communities need a change. A big one, and very soon. That is to the benefit of EVERYONE in the faming communities. I myself don't even have workers at my place. Not because I can't do with the help or afford them. It's purely a security measure. I don't want anyone to get comfortable with my dogs and know the layout of my house.
 
The freakin bottom line here is that CRIME is a major factor in SA today, we need to say enough is enough and the LAW needs to make a massive statement to would be criminals - You do the Crime - You do the Time ( NO freakin PAROLE or 3 course meals ) just pap & water - include HARD LABOR to fix our crumbling infrastructure !!

Make me Minister of Law & Order - please please , I want to show criminals what it is to be a Criminal in SA !!
 
Third farm attack suspect arrested

Shock as soldier is arrested for farm attack

Police raided a 5SAI soldier’s home on Friday afternoon and arrested him after he was positively linked to the farm attack that took place on Friday.

Another suspect handed himself over to police after he was informed police were looking for him.

This brings to three the number of people arrested for the attack so far.

The attack took place on Friday afternoon at about 12.45pm.

An elderly resident (about 80 years old) was at her home on a farm situated along the N11 just outside Ladysmith when she was surprised by a group of men, two armed with firearms. The men threatened the lady and got away with a small amount of cash and an air rifle they mistakenly believed was a real firearm.

The elderly lady was not injured in the attack.

And just got word now of a break-in in our area behind our small holding. TV and two firearms stolen. I don't know the details yet, not sure if a break-in or robbery as I find it extremely hard to believe someone would be stupid enough to have 2 firearms not in a safe...

Enough to make me go there and bliksem the farking owner. (I don't know the details yet) Came through on the Whatsapp group. Asking for details now. Because they could have now armed normal burglars with 2, yes TWO firearms!

I don't. I asked and waiting for feedback. They just said 2 firearms stolen. If stolen with a safe I'm cool with that, not happy but cool. The way the message is worded though doesn't sound like it was. Again, just assuming
 
As said already, the murder rate in SA as a whole is out of control. We are 8th on the list of murders by Capita at 34 and a bit per 100 000 and the countries topping us are all ****holes.

Random stat, you actually have an almost 5000 times more chance of being mirdered in SA than winning the lotto.

All crime stats are wrong. If you could somehow prevent stats manipulation by government and the SAPS South Africa will probably rank as the world's number 1 most dangerous country.

Just received confirmation that there will already be roads blocked in Pretoria (Outlaying areas entering Pretoria on Monday)

I'm sure more to follow. Interesting times ahead.
