Well, if there was proof (besides some dubious, of very little use pic, as marine1 posted) that there was indeed such a military grade jammer used by some supposedly casual farm attackers it would indeed point to something more sinister, at minimum a syndicate or worse.
 
Well if you have R100k you can also buy one, not just the military or other security forces.

There is NOTHING in that photo to suggest government involvement even though we despise the government.

Even the info of 500m radius is wrong which points to a bit of sensationalism.

It's a grainy pic of some people walking around with guns. Don't see how it's clearly farm attackers. Am I missing some sheep or something? Not saying it isn't farm attackers, just querying the "clearly" part.

Yeah, these things are controlled by most governments due to the havoc it could cause.

Seriously doubt any Tom dick and Harry could purchase this.

Those 'in the business' will know the difference and why there are a certain number of antennas on the thing.

That may very well be true, but we have no idea about origins of the one on marine1's pic. It may have ame in through the border. The same way the streets are flooded with rifles and shotguns we don't use locally.

But it can be stolen from the army by any Tom Dick and Harry, still no proof that the government is involved officially.
