Farm Attacks

What a bloody savage.

A savage indeed.

TIA (:D)

The river is on the border of the farm …. The farmer came and confronted them. He told them it was his river...

He owns a river? Soon, someone will claim to own the air mass circulating above their property.

Can he pull the "it was taken out of context" card and he actually meant the land through which the river flows is his land or is that card reserved?

That is card is reserved for stupid people that don't have any other defense, he (or anyone that feels like defending him) are welcome to use it if they feel it's applicable.

Got it. Thanks

Entirely up to him. Makes me wonder why someone is even asking that question in light of what happened.

They got fired after being employed for only a year. Both of them...

There is more to this story for sure, does not make what he did right though.

Why is the "more to the story" thing only used when white people act like d***heads ?

Have you used the "more to this story" thing when describing any attack on this thread perpetrated by black people?

Why does there always have to be "more to the story" when white people act like d***heads for obvious reason?

Are you farking kidding me?

Not once have I said what the owner did was right? Both, husband and wife FIRED after only working a year. You think the farmer just fired them because? There is definitely more to this, you can try swing it all you want.

People get victimised for all sorts of reasons. In an industry where labour laws are hardly looked at, one can be fired for things as flimsy as coming to work a minute late.

I actually know someone who was victimised and targeted for "trying to be a Mandela".

O I fully agree, does not mean that we were not given the full story does it? Why were they fired? Why are they still staying on the property? So much unanswered questions, so yes, there is more to the story. Simple as that. You can try and pin some kind of spin on it for actually highlighting we don't have the full story here, but that is your prerogative. Does not change anything...

Whatever the case may be, would it give the farmer the right to damage property they were occupying at the time?

Although you are both right, his point is why do you see that there might be more to the story only from one side? I bet there is more to most of these stories that we don't get, most of the time some(me included sometimes) just don't give a sh(i)t about whether there is more to it or not.

Because the full story is not being told. Don't blame me or others, blame the reporter. They elude to certain facts then neglect to follow through on those facts. Maybe the problem is in the way these articles are written. Don't blame us for wanting the full story

You are trying to make an issue of something here for some reason. If the article was better written I would not have to say there is more to this story. And in now way have I eluded or hinted that the farmer is in the right here. What he did was completely wrong and he will be punished for it. I want the full story not a half written piece of shyte.

And I agree with every single thing you just said, but the point he was trying to make went right over your head. Maybe you should calm down and reread the previous page again.

No, it pisses me off that when I for example feel there is more to a certain article, all of a sudden some agenda needs to be driven. It's always the same people claiming "O so the attacker is white now there is more to the story". Just more SJW shyte again. It's a poorly written article and that is that.

And that's the reason why you are missing the point. You know that you don't always have to be right? You can concede a point also some times. And on your point of the attacker being white, he is not wrong on that. If you read through this thread with an open mind you might just notice the trend.

Sometimes you just know when reading an article what the comments will be.

And just so by the way, we do not even know what the colour of the attacker is, and it should anyway not matter.

AgriSA condemns 'unqualified statements' about land following farmer's murder
AgriSA says the murder of a farmer near Vredefort on Sunday shows how "irresponsible and reckless" statements around land expropriation are.

Kriek condemned the "unqualified statements on land [as] catastrophic for agricultural development and further investment in agriculture, especially since they are based on unfounded and incorrect assumptions".

"Such utterances could be interpreted by certain individuals as justification for attacking and murdering members of the farming community."
